Factors of the effectiveness of psychological counseling: semantic reconstruction

The results of the study of the effectiveness factors of psychological counseling are presented. We used group supervision with elements of theme-centered interaction, contextual reconstruction of author's texts, which made it possible to specify the content and factors of the studied effectiveness. As a result, semantic categories characterizing the aspects of receiving psychological assistance by the client were identified. Among the factors of the effectiveness of
counseling, determined mainly by its humanistic context, are the following categories: new, expected, as well as unexpected – emotional states, behavior, thoughts of the client; solving problems by the client through the acceptance of responsibility; insights about your life experience; acceptance by the client of his own experience, overcoming difficulties; building client relationships with themselves and with others; problem solving by the client through the ac-
ceptance of responsibility.
